Update: here's the link to a new study by the British Medical Journal, comparing a traditional antidepressant with St. John's Wort among 324 patients. The results are very encouraging!
Incidentally, the BMJ is the organization who first came out with that landmark study on St. John's Wort that encouraged me to try it back in 1996/1997, and subsequently create this website. Thanks to Fairy for emailing me the proper link. :)

sorry I cannot seem to make a link to the exact article it was about a trial using imipramine and hypericium and a placebo. sjw came out tops against the prescription anti depressant
