Topic Title: One week in....

I began taking SJW one week ago after a three month battle with intense anxiety and depression caused by an allergic reaction to the medication Aollegra D and Ambien. When faced with taking Paxil, I chose SJW instead and am seeing positive results already. My negative thoughts are lessening, and I am seeing things a bit more rationally. I am still not where I want to be, but I know I will get there with the help of this site and SJW!

ive been on it 9 days 350mg a day. i take it before bed and feel little bit more hopeful and positive but a little anxious at night and skin is sensitive. im hoping that giving it time to work i will improve as anti-depressants take time. i might increase dosage to 900mg.

I have been taking SJW for 9 days, I have not really seen any benefits yet and am getting desperate I just can not take my mind off how I feel and it is ruining my life and is incredibly frustrating.
If you don't mind me asking what dose are you taking and have you had any side-effects

I am using Perika (Nature's Way, 2 with breakfast, one with lunch) and the only side effect I have noticed are intense, crazy dreams. As a result, I usually feel very anxious for about an hour after I wake up. I also take .5 mg Ativan upon waking and this helps as well. But, the only thing that is really making a difference is the SJW. Hang in there. Everyone has different brain chemistry, and some take longer to notice a difference!
