I noticed that there is a lot of posts from people that are starting out on sjw.Can some of you that have been on it long enough to feel the positive effects of sjw share your success stories please? I need to do something about my depression and anxiety/panic attacks ~NOW.I have box of kira sjw and a starter pack of zoloft. I want to take what will be most promising and maybe your success stories will help me because of course I would also prefer to take what will give me less side affects(sjw) and less withdrawl symptoms later. I want to use the sjw but need to know that it will probably really help me. I am aware that you should wait two weeks after discontinuing sjw before you go on an ssri. I dont want to waste anymore time feeling this way.

from experience, yes. as to sjw casules or tea, i'm a tea person. at least one strong cup a day, allowed to cool slightly, then straight down the hatch. it sure works in stabilizing moods! (i have depression, leaning decidedly towards anxiety). i'd been on lorazepam (ativan) for a month, then tapered off. i went 100% herbal, using sjw, licorice root, alfalfa, gingko, and valerian (that one only when needed, as the body quickly builds up a tolerance to the valerian root), as well as certain vitamins and minerals: B6,B12,D,E,Cal-Mag,selenium,etc. it has helped. i hope i've helped in any way that i can. sincerely, ctomarctus
God bless!

Hi leelee80s,
Well I'm feeling fine since beginning SJW and I had to deal with the effects of coming of a prescribed Anti-D also.
I think the best way for any individual to measure how SJW or any ANTI-D is working is a self trial so to speak.
Being positive for me personally is a indication of whether I'm doing OK.Simple things like planning to do my garden or learn the piano or think about asking out a pretty women all mean to me that depression isn't ruling my life but my thoughts and genuine feelings are.
When or if I begin to feel negative or down over a period of time and my thoughts become more enclosed and withdrawn. Then I'd look at what medication I'm on , if nothing particularly in my life should be making me feel so down.
