Topic Title: Gotu is Great!

After reading everyone's glowing review of Gotu, I too tried it. It's really amazing stuff, better on my anxiety than 5-HTP, but also gives me "good" energy, meaning I'm focused and confident. I also was experiencing a "fog" from taking SJW 300 mg/3x daily. I think I'll stay on the SJW as a mood stabilizer, but continue taking Gotu for the energy and self-esteem it gives me. I really haven't felt this good since taking Zoloft, and I hope it continues.
Anyways, I used the GNC brand; it's only 9.99 for something like 60 capsules.

By the way, I don't take SSRIs anymore. I was on Zoloft for 1 year, and spent another year on Effexor. My current regimen is 900 mg SJW and 1000 mg Gotu.

Hello LadySSRI,
If you wouldn't mind, what brand are you using? It seems people are having variable degrees of success with Gotu, and I'm curious which brands are working the best. There's a thread that just started in the 'Brands' area of this board as well:

Thanks!

It's the GNC Fingerprint.

Thanks - that's the brand I'm using. Unfortunately it's had no effect on me. I've been using it for six days now, 500mg in the morning, 500mg at night. I'm going to add another 500mg in the afternoon until the bottle is gone to see if that makes a difference. I'm really glad it's working for you though!
