I've been on SJW for (hmmm) maybe almost 2 months now? Initially I got some drowsiness and fatigue from it (which passed eventually).
Lately I've been getting a couple other side effects. One is a sexual side effect (delayed ejaculation and "weakened orgasm" - no other way to describe it), and the other is that I'm prone to bursts of anger for no particular reason... the latter doesn't happen too often, thankfully.
Other than that, it continues to work well for me and my mood is good. As far as anxiety, I'm not as confident in SJW as I used to be... it seems to help with panic attacks, but perhaps increased my general anxiety level over and above whatever it was before I started taking it. Paradoxically I've been able to reduce my daily dosage of Klonopin, even though my anxiety level is higher. It's like SJW helps me deal with anxiety better, to the point it doesn't matter nearly as much.
Overall I remain very impressed with SJW. Honestly, it's been about as effective as any SSRI I've taken, and with far less overall side effects (in particular, no sleep issues and no weight gain). I may try cutting down my dosage as summer approaches, or try one day on/one day off (because my mood is generally better during the summer anyway).

Did you end up trying to quit nicotine after all? If so that might have to do with the anger and anxiety?

I haven't quit nicotine yet. The sex drive thing is new, I just started getting that effect recently so I think it's the SJW. I haven't had a problem with bursts of anger in the past either. These intuitively feel like SJW side effects, I'm pretty aware of my body most of the time (part & parcel of anxiety/panic disorder).
