"SJW plus Sam-E" , Mon 8 Mar 12:41

Here s the story of my life.

I suffer from mild chronic depression for the last 20 years. I’m 36 years old, single.
On November 2001 I started taking SJW plus Sam-E
I felt like I was alive again, never though I could feel so good, I kept taking this combo for about 6 months, and then I started to feel down, suddenly things weren’t looking that bright anymore. Dosage was increase, depression kept coming stronger and stronger, and out of desperation I stopped taking SJW and Sam-E.
My life went down like a roller coaster. Never felt so bad.
Since then I tried with not good result, 5 htp , L- tyrosine.

I want to try SJW + Same-E again but afraid of going trough same thing.

Also I forgot to add that I suffer from mild social anxiety.
During the time I was using SJW and added Sam-E I was able to look inside of me for the first time in many years. I could see that depression was problem big enough added to real problem which is “Unwanted male attraction”. That was when decided “enough is enough” BUT unfortunately SJW stopped working and could not longer work in my issues.
Right now I’m seriously considering coming back to SJW and Sam-E BUT the idea of going too down again really freak me out .

Any suggestion!!!

Sadly, it seems fairly common that SJW stops working for some people after awhile. Same thing happens sometimes with SSRI antidepressants, but with those you can switch to another type (Prozac to Paxil, etc) but there's only one type of SJW.

One thing to try might be using SJW and add some break periods... for example, use it for a few months, stop using it for a couple weeks, then start up again, etc. No guarantees, but it might help. You could also try switching brands if one brand stops working. Anyway, good luck in whatever you decide to do.
