I've been taking SJW for about 2 weeks now, and have switched brands a couple times. Currently I'm taking Perika and Nature's Way Standardized Extract, with a bottle of Natrol as standby. I've also been using Sam-e on and off (lately more off than on) but never got too much out of it, and it's pretty expensive.
Nothing dramatic has changed yet, but the side effects of the SJW (foggy headedness, fatigue etc.) have definitely diminished. I'm feeling pretty good, and taking a B-50 complex in addition to the SJW, as well as doing aerobic exercise about 20-30 minutes every other day (started 3 or 4 weeks ago) -- recently I added in some anaerobic (weight lifting) as well, and feel that it's added something essential to my exercise program. The exercise is gradually getting easier... at first it just left me fatigued and feeling sick (after a decade of being totally sedentary), but I'm slowly starting to feel invigorated after exercising.
Overall things are looking good. I don't know if the SJW has "kicked in" or not as much as it's going to, but I'll certainly give it 8 weeks before making a firm conclusion. I do feel that it's helping my mood and anxiety levels, no question about it. I also take clonopin for anxiety, and have been able to decrease my dosage to nearly half what I was taking before I started on SJW.

ive been using sjw for about a week now and has helped me too - ive started running too and some minor weight lifting - i dont think enough can be said for the psychological/emotional benefits of exercise - its a great feeling to come back after a run and sit down on the couch with your shoes still on and drink a glass of very cold water - the endorphins are definately there
