I am pretty sure I have had depression for years. I've recently looked back on my life and I cant remember a time where I was really happy. I dont even know what happiness is anymore. I am always angry. I just feel mad at everything. I dont like to go out of the house, I dont like to go places where other people will be. I think they are starring at me and saying negitive comments to eachother. I really dont want to be stuck at home all the time, but I dread going out anywhere. I know this isnt normal, and I know I need some help. I'm so tired of being known as the mean or unhappy one. I'm not mean, and I need help. I'm not sure if SJW will help me or not. I'm afraid of the menstration side effects, that part doesnt appeal to me at all! I need something to change, before I go crazy. Please, any suggestions would help.

If your not sure if you are depressed and your not sure of your options, I think that you should visit your doctors for information and advice and perhaps also a naturpath before self medicating.
I think it is also important to consider that there may be psychological issues that talking to a therapist, psychologist, or psyciatrist about could also assist in your recovery.
Many people believe that seeking assistance indicates 'weakness' but in reality, recognition of a problem and self help aren't weakness, it's sheer strength. I hope you see the light soon.

SJW may work,but it may take up to 8 weeks.Try taking SAM-e along with it until the SJW "kicks" in. Sam-e usually starts working within days. Please read the following websites on Sam-e(dosage and cofactors). Hope they help.
