I took two pills about an hour ago and am feeling better, but reading some of the posts on the forum have given me second and third thoughts about taking SJW.

Flora SJW Oil Extract 430mg gel caps

Maybe it's just the Simpsons' Xmas Episode, I'm watching.....

St John's Wort needs to be taken consistently for 6-8 weeks (about) before you will start to see results. It is not a fast-acting substance (like taking a valium for anxiety, for example). There is a really good book called "St John's Wort-Nature's Blue's Buster" by Hyla Cass. I read it recently & it really cleared up a lot of questions for me....

Good luck!

Well, some people start to notice a difference within a few days to a week... and for others it takes several weeks (up to six weeks or so) before they notice anything. It's different for everyone. Keep in mind that St. John's Wort has been used for countless years as a "mood enhancer" long before it was known to work for depression in higher doses, and thus there is some merit in its ability to have an effect fairly quickly. Either way, it's a comforting feeling to know that you're on the right path and are giving it a shot. Best of luck!
