Can people please share their brands of SJW, capsule/gelcap/liquid and dosage, 3x/day at 300mg seems to be the average.
And what are the pros/cons of liquid vs capsule/gelcap
I thought liquid type was more reliable effective?
Does anyone buy online, like vitamin world or vitamin shoppe?
Also, is it okay to start a 12 year old on SJW? I presume one would start with a low dose. The symptoms are social phobia/anxiety with her peers/crowds, any new situation (since age 6-7), general stressed feeling about school (no teasing or bullying involved, excellent academically) lifelong shyness, and mild depression because of the above symptoms.

I buy Perika from www.iherb.com . If you buy 12 bottles at a time, you can get them for about $7.00 a bottle. It works for me, but that might be different for you.
Personally, I would try counseling with the child first. There are a lot of different types of stress as child and it would come down to how the child handles the situation. I had severe acne and major growth spurts from 7th grade all the way up to the end of high school which didn't help my social stress levels. It seems that the social phobia/anxiety is the root of the problem and taking SJW will not solve that. See what a professional says and if they prescribe some sort of drug, you can take it from there.

I had social phobia for years and I've come to find out that it was 100% related to my depression. In other words, because of my chemical imbalance I had a host of mental problems, from phobias to learning disorders. Once my neurotransmitters were balanced my cognition returned to normal and EVERYTHING went away. It is possible for SJW to help with anxiety disorders, imo.

I stand corrected, Bach. I was thinking so much of the distant past, I forgot the near past. I am feeling a lot more comfortable socially than a months ago and it would have to be because because of controlling my depression.
I guess my concern was with the 12yo. I understand that some children can benefit from meds, but I would rather err on the side caution while dispensing with advice for a child on a webboard. I guess that's why I ask some many questions when someone asks about SJW.
