Topic Title: in my fourth week!
| | "in my fourth week!" , Sat 15 Nov 11:56
Hi everyone!! Just found this site and am sooooo pleased!!! It's nice to see so many others in the same boat as me!! I wanted to say that I have dealt with anxiety and mild depression for years.I didn't know I was just thought that I had some issues but that I would figure them out on my own. It wasnt until a good friend of mine switched from anti d's (after being on them for three years)to SJW. I watched her and became interested. I have now been on them for almost 4 weeks and noticed a considerable change almost immediately!! I do keep feeling better and better everyday and people around me have noticed too. I do feel funny at times almost giddy, spinny, too happy?!!! Hahahaha....if that makes any sense. I notice that so many things that used to just irk me don't seem to matter anymore!! Very tired at times too especially the first week. I take 3- 300mg 3 times a day. I'm on my way it seems but still can't beleive that I have spent so many years looking inside for some miracle cure. If anyone has any advice on anything here I'd love to hear from you.............be patient keep smiling!

Hi there!! Nice to hear from someone!! I too think this site is great I was sooooo pleased to find it!!! Thank -you for responding to my message....keep in touch let me know how you are doing. One thing I did learn last week from the pharmacist is that any kind of other meds like tylenol, etc. you get a 'better bang for your buck' is how he stated it!!! So when taking anything cut the dosage in half! Interesting huh?!

Hi, nice to hear your doing so well, I to have just started taking SJW,have taken it before but only for the blues, this time I hit rock bottom but Im crawling back up. This site is so cool I get very positive vibes from coming on here. So your taking 300mg 3 times a day, ive upped mine to 300mg twice a day after reding some of the other members experiences and it does seem to be working, but im now taking it in two lots where as before I was taking it all just before bed which left me high in the mornings but tired and down in the afternoons and even worse in the evenings. There doesnt seem to be any formula for taking dosages I suppose you just have to try what suits you and go from there. Well good luck and stay positive sending happi vibes your way

i was read that i didnt matter if you took the 900 mg dose all at once or divided in three doses. Is this right? What is the best way to take it?

I take one in the morning , one at lunch time and one and night. I dont think it matters, but my belief is that it would benefit more if you spread them out during the day to keep the dosage in your system throughout the day. I have read that some people take them all at bedtime or all in the morning. I think its just personal preference.. like I said like any vitamin I think it is best to take them through out the day...they will lose their effect as the day wears on!!! Good luck and keep in t ouch!!

Taking it with food is how you're supposed to take it i think. I take it with food or with drink. I've heard that taking it with only water may upset your tummy. I haven't had a problem though. Why do you ask that are you not getting the effects you want? Keep in touch!
