Hi,
I am new to this website and have recently come of seroxat. I have started to take 1 x 1000mg of SJW which contains 1mg of hypericum. I notice that the recommended dosage is 900mgs, need some advise. How long does SJW normally take to work?

Most people start with 300 mg. 3 times a day or 900 mg. as you stted.
Some folks notice an improvementsoon but most take a few weeks or up to 6 weeks before it really kicks in.

Thanks for your message. I have also started taking 50 mgs of 5 HTP. Should I be taking more of the 5 HTP what is the recommended dose?. I just feel so forgetful, confused, anxious etc and am worried that it is the old symptoms that are returning.

Not sure about 5 HTP but do hang in there. I have never taken the liquid SJW. Hopefully somebody else can give your advice. Maybe you can post on the other general board.
