I can take only tiny doses of sjw because it
overstimulates me. My current educated guess
is that I am too low on serotonin
and too high on epinephrine and/or dopamine.

A small dose of 5-htp a few days a week works well for me.

I do not claim to be an expert, but from my experiences and from what I read here you might benefit from another formulation of SJW. The "high-potency" formula from GNC was definitely more activiating than the European brand from Superdrug in London. From what I understand, in Europe SJW manufacture is more carefuly controlled because it is regulated as a prescription drug.
