Hello. I started trying SJW as a substitute for traditional SSRI's. I have been taking Paxil for years and seem to be developing a tolerance. I had to up to 80 mg/day to get any effect at all (good that is, the negative increased several fold). Anyway, the SJW seems to be helping, although the withdrawls from P are a considerable bother. How long do these things last?

I suggest you have a look at quitpaxil.org
It can take a while and be unpleasant, but don't give up :)
