I would like to share this information to this Community. There is a condition Called Mitral Valve Prolapse Syndrome (Dysautonomy), that causes all the symptoms of Anxiety and Depression. A very few Doctors in the world know about this condition. So thousands of patients every year are diagnosed of having Anxiety and Depression, and what they really have is Mitral Valve Prolapse Syndrome. I dont know how many of You guys may have this condition. But I am sure some of You do. This condition is very well explained at this web site: mvprolapse.com What can I tell You is that I was diagosed of Having Panic Dissorder and Depression 10 years ago in Chicago and the truth is that I have Mitral Valve Prolapse Syndrome. I have been treated for this condition and I am beggining to feel better.
I feel that something needs to be done in order for all the people know about this condition. I decided to start in this Forum, because I took St JOhns wort due to this forum and it Didnt help, because I didnt have depression. What I had was Fatigue cause by Mitral Valve Prolapse Syndrome. The Doctor told me that this symptom is usually confused with Depression.

Could you please let me know what is your treatment for the Mitral Valve Prolapse ? I have also been diagnosed with this condition that is causing me depression, panic attacks, anxiety, palpitations. I was described Seroxat (Paxil) and I am feeling better, but I am worried since this drug is an antidepressant. I would very much appreciate a reply from you

Hola! Gracias por la informacion.
Well depression runs in my family so I doubt that I have that condition. My dad has obsessive compulsive disorder. My sister is bipolar(manic depressive) and my brother is mentally retarded and also sufferes from depression.
