Topic Title: Loosing it big time.
| | "Loosing it big time." , Thu 24 Oct 12:50
Hi All,
I'm in the middle of week six. I'm loosing it big time most days now. I can't seem to stop breaking down, and stop myself from crying. Not sure what to do next. I've got a big stressful time coming soon in november, and was hoping to get myself sorted by then. Still on the same brand of tabs, and still wondering if it is wise to change yet.
Thanks,
Kev.

Dear Kev:
Sounds like you're experiencing more than mild to moderate depression, in which case, you should perhaps consult a medical doctor or psychiatrist, as a reading of Kelly's information and many books about SJW indicate that it's not advised for severe clinical depression. However, if you've been on prescription meds in the past and have had bad side effects, and you're determined NOT to take them, then I would advise that you do as I have done (and posted here)...Try taking FOUR tablets of SJW a day, not just three. Some people take as much as 5 and 6 a day (kup to 1800 mg.) with no adverse affects. I found that taking a 4th tablet now and then perked me up within a few hours. Do let us all know how you're getting on and, please, again, I strongly urge you to consider seeing a doctor for what sounds like severe clinical depression. Good luck. Jeanette

I'm sorry to hear things aren't going well for you right now! The only thing I can say is don't be afraid to experiment. What dosage of SJW are you taking? Is there room for you to up your dosage? How about a combination of SJW + 5-HTP or SJW +Kava/Valerian or just 5-HTP by itself. Keep experimenting, that's what I have done for the past weeks until I finally found what truly works for me. Please don't give up, I know for a fact that these herbs work but it takes time to get it right.
I hope things get better for you. Take care, Catz
