I started taking it a few days ago and noticed that it has made me more irritable and it has made me less alert and focused on task. I was taking it to hopefully feel more happy instead of neutral all the time but it seems to have taken away most happy feelings and made more more neutral to a little depressed. More than I was. Need help. Should I quit or stick it out for a couple of weeks.

Just give it the full 4-6 weeks before you don't think it's going to work. I just started today and I am not going to make a decision until the end of the 6th week.

I would definately stick with it. A few days is nothing and maybe SJW hasn't kicked in yet. SJW can take up to 4-6 weeks before you feel any results. If you don't feel better by then I would suggest trying SAM-E or 5-HTP.
