"Philanthropy & Exercise" , Wed 10 Oct 10:47

I've found that helping others has been as much of my recovery from depression as 5htp. I started by working one day a month at the local food pantry, and then once a week in the computer lab at my kids school, now I've joined Team Diabetes and the ADA to raise money for diabetes research and education. Also, part of my recovery has been exercise, it's hard no doubt to get motivated, and I haven't done a very good job until now. But as we know exercise increases Serotonin, elevates mood, improves self-concept and self-esteem, and isn't that the point. So, along with Team Diabetes I'm training to walk a 26.2 mile marathon. I just want to let you all know there is light at the end of the tunnel and you can beat depression!!
If you have a moment please check out my website.
