On Tuesday, October 2, I visited a local psychologist. After an hour and a half session she said that she felt as though I have major depression. I have an appointment with the psychiatrist on the 11th. More-than-likely he will prescribe an anti-depressant for me.
I began taking St. Johns Wart today. I hope to see some change before my appointment.
I would like to correspond with someone that has just begun their treatment, and we can go through this together. I will also post my experiences here. Any feedback is welcome and appreciated. My email address is kbnky@yahoo.com.

Day Two
I tend to go through bouts of depression... sometimes only a few days, sometimes two weeks or more. I felt myself coming out of my recent bout yesterday and I should be fine by the time the weekend is over (I hope). I should be able to tell if the SJW is working by the next spell.

I was put on paxil about two months ago. I stopped taking it about four weeks later. What kind of depression do you experience. I tend to get angry at my husband all the time! I feel there is a lot of anger and rage deep in me. Is that depression? My doctor said it was, but it seems as though everyone can be diagnosed as depressed. I am going to try this SJW. I would like to have someone to go through this with also. Maybe we can compare notes and encourage each other. Let me know.

My eldest sister use to be very irritable if deep inside she is suffering or reacting to a depressive condition than this is a good news to me , because from now on I can face her "Angry masquerade" without fearing her anger .Because all that she needs
seems to be love .

Write me at kbnky@yahoo.com and we'll compare notes. I do get irratable and, yes, this is one of the symptoms. I'll snap at my boyfriend occassionally and then get mad at myself for doing it. I would like to know more about what your doctor told you.

Hi Kbnky remember that SJW is use to treat mild to moderate depression ... anyway experiences with SJW are welcome !!!
