is it ok to take both of these at the same time? is it safe to just stop buspar cold turkey and then start taking SJW? Anyone know if SJW helps with anxietY? Does anyone know any good brand names, im at a point where i have to make a decision and need all the input i can get, thanks.

Hey dude
I just started taking SJW and coz I suffer from anxiety/depression etc. etc. So far its been really good actually, I've pretty much had no anxious thoughts and I used to get accompanying dizzy spells which have also gone. It has made me a bit drousy and I feel a little sedated but I also feel a lot more clear headed than I have in a while, this may sound like a contradiction but its hard to describe. I have taken other anti-dep's but felt really sick. Will keep you posted, Good luck with your stuff :)

Hi GrowingP. you seem a little "desperate" ?! Buspar is a good med. for relieving anxiety I don't know what kind of "intensity"
you need ?! From the scale 1 to 10 how much this med. is helping
you in relieving your anxiety ???
It is not advisable to take Buspar and SJW together !!!
Do you have enough CONFIDENCE in your doctor ??? ...

I was on Buspar for 3 and 1/2 weeks. My anxiety-related dizzy spells disappeared but I lost my appetite, felt fatigued, had diarrhea, didn't want to get up, go to work, see my friends, and was depressed (something I didn't have before taking the Buspar).
My doctor told me to stop the Buspar immediately and prescribed Paxil. I refused to get on another antidepressant. The cure seemed worse that the original illness.
My co-worker told me about SJW and I just bought a bottle. I want to do a little more research on it before I try it. Hopefully it'll pull me out of this funk.
BTW, has anyone ever used Xanax in conjunction with SJW?
