anyone know anything about this medicine? anyone tried it? does it work? whats it for? my doctor prescribed it to me and i know nothing about it, only one website for it.... can someone post their experiences with it, or someone that they know's. I need all the info i can get

never took it. it's used to treat anxiety.
the consensus seems to be that it's not
very effective. i decided the risks outweighed
the benefits. for anxiety i take ativan and
the herb kava kava.

I was on Buspar for 3 and 1/2 weeks. I lost my anxiety-related dizzy spells but not without severe side-effects. I lost my appetite, sex drive, felt out-of-it, had diarrhea, didn't want to get out of bed in the morning, didn't want to go to work, just lost my drive overall. I still felt anxiety to boot!
I told my doctor of my symptoms and he told to me stop it immediately. He then prescribed Paxil for me which I will not take. I decided, in collaboration with my doctor, to get a therapist and take some Xanax when I feel anxious. This was just yesterday.
So far I haven't taken a single pill. I am still trying to find a therapist but hopefully will have one next week.
As for Buspar, I hated it. My friends said I was "vacant!" The lights were on but nobody was home.
I got a bottle of SJW today. Hopefully that will help. I still want to read up on it to see if it's for me.
Hope your situation gets better.
