I've just started taking SJW this week to help me deal with I believe to be mild depression.
I feel unable to push my life forward in the way I would want to and in the way I see others doing all the time. I always seem to be making arrangements to prepare to get my life going and seem to be rarely actually participating in it.
I was prescribed Cipramil a number of years ago and in the short term the results were very positive. But I began to lose my focus on work etc and ran into some problems. It was also hugely expensive and I had to go a GP/Psychiatrist to get it in the first place.
I'm not looking for SJW to make me high or to take me away from those issues in my life I know that ultimately I will have to face. What I would like is to get that 'feel good' factor back into living. The feeling of waking up on a Saturday morning and being in love with the world.

I related completely to what you said. I have never taken any antidepressant medications for fear of what their effects will be on my body but have struggled with depression for years. I'm at the point now of having to do something to deal with the way I feel. I don't want to escape reality or stop feeling. Quite the opposite-I'm an artist and have stayed away from conventional antidepressants because I don't want to be turned into a zombie. I just started taking SJW on July 4th and have noticed that my mood at least feels a little more stabilized. I'm only taking one 300 mg tablet a day so far, because my body tends to be very sensitive to this type of thing. We'll see how it goes. Best of luck and happiness.

if u did your research on anti-depressants like u did with SJW u would know there is nothing to fear. just like SJW u need to find the correct dose etc. why put up with years of depression if a tablet could help. don't understand. on Zoloft and they make big difference. leo
