I am in toronto, and have given up on being able to find kira brand. Can somebody suggest a good brand available in stores here?
Its a little frustrating ... this question on a half decent brand available in canada gets posted over and over and nobody seems to ever respond (except for that repeated post with the link to the aviva website which I already know about ... I (and aparently many others) am interested in a half-decent brand I can buy at a STORE here). Thanks.

Check out www.biopsychiatry.com/hypericum.html to read an article called "LA Times Frontpage Story on St. John's Wort". They say Safeway Select had the highest amount of hypericum compared to the other brands they tested.

Hello I was talking to them today and they are the distributor for canada. She is doing a search for me to see if there is a store close to me that carrys it or i can buy right from them. Will post more info when i have. Hope this helps

I too am in ontario and looking for kira. I did some back tracking on this section and found a phone number of a distributor in Markam.I will be calling this week and i will let you know how that goes. Hang in there and keep smiling

For the last few years I have also been frustrated with brands in Canada: as with many other brands (besides Kira) I have tried: I would try a brand that would seem to give good results and then a subsequent batch (new bottle) would give very different and negative results, like feelings of irratibility, nervousness, tiredness, and just an all in all weird 'out of it' type feeling; for people who have tried many different brands, I'm sure you know what i'm talking about: where the SJW seems to have many more negative affects than possitive.
I had used Kira early on in my SJW experience with excellent results, so when I suddenly couldn't find it in stores any more I was quite dismayed. I have used various brands within the last year or so, and although some of them seemed good to start with I have not found one that is consistently good (like Kira was when I used it for over a year); thinking that maybe it was related to individual batches I purchased 5 bottles with the same LOT# of Natural Factors SJW, but still had extremely varied results: I was doing good and it seemed to be working well and litterally days after changeing bottles I would feel really wierd and out of it and whatever else, I could just tell that something wasen't right and after having similar experiences in the past, I knew what was going on.
Eventually, I decided to try to obtain Kira no matter what, and ended up (after doing some serious research into online companies) ordering 6 packs of Kira (45 pills each) from IHerb.com. Price was very good something, like $7US a pack and $20 flat rate for shipping. Supprisingly, I recieved the package at my door only 2 days after placing the order, and have now been taking 2 Kira a day for the last few days and it has been making a huge difference (especially since quitting taking any SJW for almost a week due to poor quality/reaction to last batch of Natural Factors).
Anyways, I'm not trying to promote any retailer or anything, all I'm saying is that for a long time I didn't revert back to Kira, a brand I had experienced with consistently good results, only because it was not available in stores in Canada and I was unwilling to order it online/from the states. But now it seems to be relatively cheap and very fast to get, and by far Kira seems to miles ahead of any other regular brand, so for me this will be the way to go!

Okay guys, here we go...
The only place I've ever found Kira in Canada is at Safeway in Western Canada... which may or may not exist in Ontario. I sure can't find it here in Montreal, and it's way too expensive anyway except for a month or two. I've ordered Perika a few times, and if you buy five or six bottles it offsets the shipping cost from the U.S.. It's inexpensive and very effective, but it's still easier to buy something local...
I have been buying two different brands readily available in Quebec, they are Swiss Natural Sources (made in Richmond Hill, ON), and Personelle (made here in Laval/Montreal, QC). Both seem to work just fine, and I can recommend either of them. If you can find Prairie Naturals (based in B.C.) I used to take that one years ago too.
I'm thinking about changing/rewording the note I make about brands elsewhere on the website... I was having a rough go of things when I put that on my website. However I'd still highly recommend *avoiding* the Wal-Mart style megastore brands, because they're the cheapest of the cheap and often don't work. But other good quality brands from a good drug store should work fine.
Thoughts?

Hello just a update. Phone # i posted is right but address is wrong. 19.99 a bottle anything over 40.00 is free shipping and buy 3 bottles get 4th free and there you have it.
