Topic Title: perika half-life
| | "perika half-life" , Sun 12 Jun 11:18
I have been taking Perika for a few weeks and often experience a "jolt" of energy about three hours after taking it. Some time later this levels off. I know the half-life of hyperforin is only about 9 hours, but the half-life of sjw as a whole(hypercin portion?) is supposed to be, I believe, about 26 hours. Does anyone know if the effects of Perika's hyperforin are cumulative over time, as is the case with many prescription antidepressants and possibly hypercin standardized sjw, even though the half life of hyperforin is short?
Thank you for any information.

Dear FMackay,
I don't personally see SJW as a quick-acting drug (as you describe it) like, say, an aspirin......and can't say that I've experienced any 'jolts' from taking it.
I think in that sense for me it is more of a cumulative drug that takes effect over a few days and leaves your system over a roughly similar period. (I take Perika as well.)
Different people experience a range of times for SJW to take effect. I have seen some people report that they get a short-term effect from it, like yourself. Others advise that you need to give it 'several weeks' to notice a difference.
Some people find SJW a life-saver whilst others find it doesn't help at all.
I think the moral of the story is that we're all different and tend to react differently to any given medication.
Sheephead.
