I was wondering does anyone know how long you need to be off 5-HTP before you can commence on another anti-depressant. I am about to start 5-HTP and would like to know this icase it doesnt work.

I believe 5-htp has a half-life of less than eight hours and should be basically out of your system within a day or two, so I'd think starting a new medication after that would probably be OK. Not certain on this.
