"amoryn withdrawl" , Tue 7 Dec 12:14

Hello, I am weaning off zoloft very slowly and then intend to switch to Amoryn. However I do not want to start something else that could give me horrible withdrawl symptoms if I stop it. The Amoryn website says it will not cause withdrawl. I just want to get thoughts on this cause I am having a bad time with zoloft withdrawl even though I am going very slowly. Thanks

I have only just registered on this site today and found your post about coming off zoloft. I was on 50mg then 25mg a day and am weaning to 25 mg every 2nd day and am having a great deal of trouble coming down. As a result I have found your post and just wanted to know how you got on with this. Any info would be great as I am purely in the research stages.

Hi,

I just joined the forum today also. I too am experiencing the effects of zoloft withdrawal. My physician had kept me on a low dose of 50mg zoloft/day for nearly 8 years for low grade depression/anxiety, and it never really seemed to do a whole and then this past year I began experiencing side affects. He wanted to change to Lexapro and I just wanted to get off of this stuff all together. So I started to wean myself off the zoloft. I went to every other day at 50mg for a few months, and then just stopped altogether about 2 weeks ago. The withdrawal has been uncomfortable (but not unbearable) with alot of lightheadedness. Once the withdrawal subsides, I want to try SJW, and having been researching... which is how I ended up at this website. Any advice for me?
