Also being a vegetarian, this is very important to me too. I just ordered a St. John's Wort product called Perika that has a very good reputation for effectiveness. I live in the U.S. and here it's sold under the Nature's Way label.

I am also a vegetarian and I took Kira which is supposed to be one of the best brands. They come in tablet form but be careful to take the 3 a day type, 300mg in each tablet rather than the concentrated 900mg one a day tablet as this contains gelatin.
