Hello. I've been on HBC Protocols for a week and a half. Within a week I felt the benefits, but then found my self in the position of having 2 or 3 beer on 2 consecutive nights. Well, my sleep became disrupted, and after the 2nd light drinking night I had gone downhill a long way, feeling as bad as I had while using prescription meds.
I had always found moderate drinking on store bought brands, which helped me somewhat, to be acceptable. Anyone else here on hBC, Kira, Perika, etc. have any stories related to alcohol?

Oh yes, drinking experiences. I'm drawn like a moth to a flame regarding alcohol. Any bipolar will tell you the same. SJW (I'm takikng HBC Protocols too but I don't think the brand matters) has helped me quite a bit but every now and then I over indulge - like last night. Sometimes to celebrate, party, sometimes to just feel less anxious. But, it's New Year's so what can you do? I drank way too much last night. Today I feel like crap, hungover, depressed, disrupted sleep. The SJW might be affecting alcohol's effects but I truly believe enough alcohol alone without SJW or anything else is going to leave you feeling awful the next day and much more depressed. Let's face it, it's a powerful toxin. It usually takes me 2 days to recover and if I can stay away from it for a week I notice a huge lightness in my being. You'd think I'd learn. New Year's Resolution.

I've been doing pretty well with avoiding alcohol lately. Did have a fair bit last night at a new year's party. I find I have fun for a little while but soon end up feeling more anxious. It disrupts my sleep too, which i don't need because I'm suffering from insomnia now. i've been prescribed zopiclone and have 2 weeks to reset my body clock, which basically means getting up at 7 on the weekends to preserve a schedule. Have to work on relaxation and i lapsed on exercise, but i'm quite happy with the progress I made this year. It was a hard year but I dealt with a lot of issues.
