hi to both of you... yes, amoryn is wonderful. takes awhile to kick in, i've been on it for 2.5 months and now feel like it's pretty solid. took a long time and i almost gave up a few times. no bad side effects at all. none. i like amoryn because i can feel things - prozac was great but everything was so neutral. amoryn lets you feel without freaking out. you can handle things. amoryn and absolute faith in God is the trick.

I've used St.John's wort and I think that was some of the most creative days of my life. Isn't Amoryn stronger? I had to go up on the old St. John's for it to work, got side effects, sun, and went back on other prescription drugs. I hate side effects. I never had anxiety on St. John's wort. I loved that part. I would love to just try adding alittle to my Wellbutrin to change back over. What do you think?

Amoryn is supposed to work better than St. John's wort because it only contains the part of St. John's wort that does the trick-hyperforin. As far as side effects, I am more afraid of the long-term effects of prescription medication than I am an herbal or natural alternative. Sensitivity to the sun is one of the side effects of Amoryn, but I have only been taking it for a week so I haven't noticed a problem. I use a 45 SPF sunscreen normally anyway because I don't want to look like my saddle by the time I'm 40! I'm not sure about using Amoryn along with Wellbutrin. You should ask your Dr. I took Wellbutrin a few years ago. It seemed to help a little, but not alot. And my insurance didn't cover it so it was quite expensive to take. If you buy Amoryn in bulk you can get it for $20 or less a bottle. Do you have problems with anxiety? What about social anxiety?

This is in regards to anyone who has used Amoryn. I recently purchased the product, but have not received it yet. Does it really help? I have social anxiety problems and occasional panic attacks because of the social anxiety problem. I would like to hear from others who have this problem & find out if I have the same type of symptoms as others with the problem. Any advice on what helps ease the problems?
