I am using golden glows st john's wort, any one use this and what do you think, I am new to this site, and to sjw.

I have just started on SJW today and I haven't tried golden glow yet,I bought Herbs of Gold SJW 3600 from a health shop which has twice the strength of Blackmores, but there was nothing to say how many percent it had on any of the bottles, but reading the home page she said it should be higher than most shop brands, so I thought that the higher it was the better to start. How have you got on with the golden glow? as I have their catalogue and if it works well I may buy from there in the future. I look forward to hearing from you

I'm also a new user of SJW (one week today I think) and I live in Australia. I'm sorry that I can't help you with that particular brand (I've been taking Blackmores) but I thought I'd let you know that you weren't the only Aussie seeking advice in this area.

I have half a dozen bottles of Perika that I ordered from the US, it is one of the best SJW available. I don't know about Golden Glow but I always go for the best quality even if I have to order it from overseas.
I stopped SJW after taking it for a year because my depression has lifted. That was over 4 months ago and I am fine. If you want to buy from me at a discount pls let me know. I live in Melbourne.

Hi guys,
Both Blackmores (Hyperiforte) and Herron (St John's Wort 1800) use the "StJohnSelect" extract, an extremely high quality product made by Indena Phytochemicals of Milan, Italy. That specific extract is a research-grade, clinically trialled and proven type of St John's Wort. I would avoid other brands, as their dosage information is misleading, and the origin of their extracts unknown.
By the way, Herron is a lot better value than Blackmores, for exactly the same product. They both work very well though.
