Does anyone take a multivitamin regularly with their 5htp. The multi I take has 50 mg. of B6. Havent started the 5htp yet, would alternating be a good idea?

Does your 5htp have B6 in it? Nature's Way does, Natrol doesn't. I switched to Natrol to avoid taking too much B6, which I understand should not be taken in doses of more than 100 mg. daily over a prolonged period of time (got this info from iHerb.com's Health Encyclopedia). I also switched to a weaker multivitamin, with less B6. I add to this a B-complex (Source Naturals co-enzyme type). I want the B vitamins, but I don't want to overdo B6.

I have a PMS one that has tons of vit. B but only 5 mg of 5htp. I take a separate 5htp (100mg) and dont take the other one at all. I read you shouldn't take ANY B6 with 5htp as it defeats the purpose.
I'll look more into it, thanks, Sara
