Topic Title: Perika Brand Not Working
| | "Perika Brand Not Working" , Sun 25 Jan 14:29
I have been on Perika now for 3 months, but have noticed that I have become extremely anxious and depressed, as for obsessively thinking about things negatively. I do not know if it is the Perika SJW doing this, or if it's just the fact that maybe it does not work for me. I am thinking of now switching to Amoryn, before I make the switch back to Prozac(I was originally on it for 3 years). I would love some advise as to what to do, starting to go crazy with all this research and trying out different methods to help with this terrible depression I live with.. HELP?????]

I am sorry to hear that you feel that Perika did not work. May I make a suggestion? Perhaps the dosage you were taking was not high enough. For me, I found that I needed to double the recommended dosage. I have been on Perika for 10 months taking 1800mg per day and it has worked wonders. The minimum rec. dosage is 900mg per day, but I have read that it is safe to take up to as high as 3600mg per day. The only side effect is sensitivity to bright light so wear sun glasses outside when sunny.

hey i am on Amoryn now for almost a month. I am having my anxiety and panic thoughts and episodes return. I think I will have to go back to Lexapro which is what i was on before. I think that Amoryn might work for some people who have mild anxiety or depression. i felt good for a few weeks but now i dont. I have also had insomnia the last week. that is a symtom i always had before I go on my prescribed meds. that means this isnt working or something. this is just my story.

Yeah I tried the SJW for 3 months, it made me nuts. So unfortunate. I wound up having to go back on prozac 10 mg, i feel great again. I truly was hoping to go with the all natural route, but it just didnt work.
