Topic Title: GNC fingerprinted SJW

Has anyone tried GNC's sjw fingerprinted version??? Some people have told me i should get the standardized form and i think they must be right. However i got a new bottle of fingerprinted 500mg and wouldn't like to throw it away. Maybe i could take it for a while until my body gets used to it and it starts to kick in and then try to get the standardized one. However the only brand and form ive seen they sell here is the fingerprinted GNC. Should i still take it or is it useless. if you want to know on the label it says: saint john's wort herb powder (hypericum perforatum l.) 500 mg. It doesnt say anything about hypericin though. in directions it reads: take one or two capsules 3 times daily(which sounds like too much) Can any one give me some advice on this???

GNC has an HERBAL PLUS line that sells concentrated St. John's Wort. 60 softgel capsules at 1000 mg each only costs $8.99 in Savannahh, Georgia. I have been told by GNC gurus that all their vitamin and herbal supplements are standardized.

When I shopped at GNC, they told me that I could return any product that I purchased, if I wasn't satisfied. I would imagine that this would be a policy in effect at all locations and would be worth looking into if you feel that this isn't going to work out for you.
