"Amoryn" , Mon 15 Dec 12:32

I have never been "diagnosed" with depression or anxiety, but feel that I have developed both. I think my mild depression has manifest itself in some sort of social anxiety complex, as I seem generally withdrawn and abnormally nervous in social situations. This never was a problem for me in the past. I actually considered seeking treatment, but really want to try something herbal before taking that step. I'm really wary of drug therapy. Has anyone had significant success with "Amoryn" or similar products. I visited Amoryn's website, and have actually ordered a bottle to try. What should I expect, if anything?

Hi, I was wondering if you did try the Amoryn. I too have recently purchased a bottle. I am wondering what your experience with Amoryn was

The Amoryn may have been working a bit, but I never really gave it a chance before switching to Perika. I switched for a number of reasons. Both came highly recommended (mainly from this site) but Amoryn was significantly more expensive. I didn't care for that, plus I wasn't sure whether I should be taking such a significant amount of B-vitamins. I prefer to take the SJW and an additional B-vitamin. I also like what I read about the quality control of the Perika.

I'm now ending my first week on Perika, and I've noticed an emerging level of fatigue/grogginess. Sometimes I have to stop for a few seconds to remeber what I am doing. Scary stuff.

I suppose time will tell.

Thanks for the response Karalyn. I actually began taking a small dose of Amoryn last Saturday. It seems to have "lightened" my mood a bit already, though that could be attributed to my hope that this will help. I am anxious to return to my normal, lively self again.

Thanks again for your response,

TP

tp17..let us know how it goes as many have wondered about this product. Realizing that each of us is different, it would still be interesting if you could let us know how you are progressing, as there has been alot of debate about this product, side effects, etc....

Hi, I have been taking Amoryn for about two weeks now. I have GAD. First of all, I do feel less anxious, I don't sweat the 'small stuff' like I used to. But - I feel really run down at times, I get headaches easely and at times I feel 'out of touch'. I have now cut down to 1 capsule at night, because I didn't like the way I felt during the waking hours. Amoryn definetely helps me sleep. I will keep you all posted.
