Okay, first off: Never mix your pills. If you are taking anti-depresants for whatever reasons do NOT take any other anti-depressants at the same time. In fact be weary of any other tablets (this includes medicine)that you take in conjuction with the anti-depressants as it can severely alter your moods and make you very ill. Secondly: My love and prayers are with you always. Depression is an illness which occurs in 9 out of 10 people so you are not alone. I am glad to say I have been taking 100mg of sertraline daily for a year now and have pulled through so never give up hope. Peace and love x x x.

So in my case I take Elavil (steadily for 12 years 150mg at night down to 100mg and now down to 50mg each night)Do folks just STOP their anti dep meds and jump to SJW?
I am addicted to klonopin (tho have decreased it from 3mg a day as needed to 1mg at night unless I am totally stressed )
I just pulled out of a 3 week dark funk and feeling ok tho not knowing if I am on the edge of a manic episode (which is fine by me) I never get real elated when I am manic, maybe it feels so good because when I am depressed it is horrible and difficult to hang in there.
So what's a person to do? I have taken L-Theanine to help with nerves while taking the above mentioned meds.
How does one make the transistion?????

Totally agree about mixing pills of any sort when taking anti-depressants, even health type pills. Always check with you Dr. I am not sure about your 9 out of 10 people suffer from Depression. Everyone gets sad from time to time, but sadness is not depression. The good news is that Depression is manageable if you take the right medicine, but more importantly be honest and talk about how you are feeling. I have found that when I open up to me girlfriend and really talk about my feelings it takes around 20 minutes or so to start feeling better - not cured but more relaxed and ok about things. Take it easy - talk to your loved ones...
