Hello everyone...This is my first time here so be gentle with me! Ok then here goes....I've has social anxiety all my life apart from about 3 years from the age of 12-15 when i found i had super self confidence(my best guess here is that during puberty my brain chemistry was different)anyway ive always been convinced my condition is a result of some deficience in my brain and not just learned behavior which has been suggested to me many times before. I have been reading alot about 5htp and want to try it. Can anyone recommend a particular brand and were i might buy some. This condition is destroying my life i would be eternally grateful for any help.....THANK YOU

There are two internet sites that are pretty cheap. The cheaper of the two is vitacost.com. The other is iHerb.com. I like the health encyclopedia they have at iHerb. I have ordered from both. I think iHerb is better for international shipping, so if you live outside the U.S. iHerb might be a better choice. As for brand, I generally like Nature's Way stuff. I figure you can't go too wrong with them. You might want to have a look around the forums here and see if something else looks better to you. Good luck.
