ok i gave up ssri's and tried 5htp..loooove it..for me it works better then paxil ever did or lexapro or prozac or zoloft or wellbutrin..i went through a long line..lol in between them i had tried st.john's wort but hadnt been impressed so it took me a long time to get the guts up give up meds and try 5htp, but i am sooo glad i did..its been amazing..and without health insurance, its been a good way to save money
now i like 5htp but i cant really help being curious and wanting to add a lil st.john's, a lil tyrosine and a lil fish oil with it all,but i already spend so much a month for a nice multi vitamin and a skin, hair and nails complex..lol cuz i am kinda shallow like that:)
so i am wondering and maybe i should copy and paste this in brands too.. but is there something with about a 200-300 mg dose of 5htp...what i take now and a lil tyrosine, lil fish oil and maybe enve a lil st.johns..so i could just buy one product and not have to take so many pills a day..cuz i really suck at remembering to take stuff anyways..i only remember the 5htp cuz i like it so much..lol plus it gets expensive buying all this stuff seperate..
i will copy and paste this in brands too..didnt think of that eariler:)
thank you:), take care,jessica

Go to the iherb website and do a search on 5htp, there are a few products that have 5htp, sjw and other ingredients. Moodaid by nature's way is one...and htp calm another.
I have also tried tyrosine and found that it made me very irritable. I would not recommend taking it if your problem is a serotonin one.
