Topic Title: Mindease by Native remadies

Hi, I have kust started taking SJW via a product called Mindsoothe which is a combination of SJW and Passionflower. Anyone use or heard of this? I have anxiety but little or no depression I'm told. I have had insomnia for 3 months last month I was on a tranqualizer for 3 weeks while in thearpy (too long I now realise). I am now off. I had 4 sleepless consecutive nights before the tranqualizers and now 4 out of 6 after. I have been on SJW for the last 6 days and wonder if they could be part of the contributing factor or not? Does SJW deal with Anxiety or just depression?

Native Remedies products work about as well as sugar pills. The SJW in MindSoothe isn't standardized to hyperforin. Maybe it contains an effective amount, but probably not. You're better off going with a brand that does standardize to hyperforin like Perika or Amoryn. I have had positive experiences with both these brands. The Perika worked well while I took it, although I now take the Amoryn to get the extra B vitamins. While I haven't had personal experience with MindSoothe, I have tried many SJW extracts that only standardize for hypericin and not hyperforin. Every one has been a disappointment.

My experience has been that due to a difficult situation the past 2 years, I had waking nights. 5-HTP has given me relief. You may have noticed MJ Dupont's postings and responses. She also recommended GABA. The very best tool is information. If you read everything on this web site (it's free), you'll find out what you need to know. I also bought The Mood Cure. Go buy it if you don't find out what you need to know here. And test out different things. Change your diet. Quit caffeine. You'll get there.
