...the anxiety it gave me. Got off and now am about to try this product called Rosavin(Rhodiola rosea). Looks promising.Natural,no side effects not addictive,no withdrawl problem.4 times less toxic than ginsing. Among other things it's said to work for anyone who is subject to the blues, depression, anxiety which I suffer from. Gonna give it a try. Do a search on Rosavin and please let me know what you think.

Hi,
I'm anxious to see your response to Rhodiola. I've been trialing it for about 3 weeks now. However, I think initially the brand I was taking wasn't doing anything for me. I am now taking the Solgar brand, and been doing that for 2 out of the 3 weeks now.
As far as the effects I've noticed, there are definitely some good ones. I'm just starting to notice that the last couple of days my mood has been getting better. I'll have these surges of energy. Its still early for me, and I'm not ready to make a statement about its effects. However, I do know one thing. When I'm not taking ANYTHING, my anxiety is through the roof, and my depression keeps me from doing practically anything. But Rhodiola seems to be holding me up, otherwise I wouldn't be as functional as I am. So, the very fact that I'm not lying in bed in misery, and am actually capable of functioning pretty well, is enough evidence in itself of the positive effects of Rhodiola.
Just the last couple of days I've added St. John's Wort. I trialed St. John's Wort for 3 weeks before, but didn't really notice much. I'm hoping the 2nd time will be a charm. I'm suspicious I didn't give it enough time the first time around.
Rhodiola seems to have so many positive effects, with few side effects. Here's a good link: http://www.herbalgram.org/herbalgram/articleview.asp?a=2333
Please post regularly on your progress, I think its fun to see how people improve (hopefully in your case!) on herbals.
Good luck with you, and I'll keep you posted also.
