Hello folks,
Just to say i've been buying Solgar 300mg here in the UK, and it is working wonders. I have been taking three per day for just over three weeks and i'm already feeling pretty stable (despite concerns about the world at present!).
I found the first ten days a bit bonkers - felt distracted, a little sick, and had a bit of the light sensitivity. I read up on Kelly's trick of taking all three at the end of the day, and this seemed to knock those effects on the head within a day or two.
All in all, a thumbs up for Solgar :)
Regards, Matt

Hi Matt,
Been looking through the message archives to see if anyone had had any success with the Solgar brand of Rhodiola. I started this brand of Rhodiola about 4 days ago and am starting to feel pretty good, I was wondering if you were still taking it as the message you posted was some months ago.
Would love to know if you are still achieving good results, look forward to hearing from you.
Cheers Jeni x

Here in Ireland we can no longer buy St John's Wort "over the counter" as the multinational drug companies have brought pressure to bear on the powers-that-be to have it taken off the shelves. However, I trawled the Net and found a supplier in the UK who delivers Solgar St. John's Wort (free post and package to UK and Ireland...!). Check out the site at http://www.hartleystraditional.com .

Hi Hektics,
I buy it in a wholefood store call Greens - in Strutton Ground, just off Victoria street in London. They aren't a chain though (I don't think), so you won't find another store :(
I'm sure i've seen Solgar brand products in other independent wholefood stores though.
If you're stuck, i'll ask them who else would stock it, next time i'm in there :)

Hi again Matt.. Was just looking around & the place where you buy them has a website where I can order from :)) Do you take three a day of this brand? I have a supply of other tablets to use up first but I will be trying the solgar ones soon..Thanks again Lyn

Hi Lyn,
Yes I am taking three a day. Although the bottle says 1 or 2 - which would give you 300 or 600 mg. I took the advice in Kelly's FAQ and went for three - getting the full 900 mg recommended dose.
Its a personal thing though isn't it, so perhaps start with 1 or 2 and build up to it. What our American friends call ramping up I believe :)
(I'm quite a sturdy chap, so I just went for the full dose!)
Good Luck. Kind Regards, Matt
