I have been struggling with severe depression since I was 12yrs old. They decided to put me on Aropax (Paxil). After a while they stpped working? Them tried others ie: Zoloft. Samr reaction, my body seems to build up a tolarence for ssri's but also any thing to do with getting maintenence for the depression I have. Homeopathy, Natropatha, Tradtional chinese medicene, Chiro practor, St Johns Wort.....the list goes on.
And the scariest thing is that I am an extremely intelligent, beautiful woman and only 26, with a potentially prosperous career ahead of her.
What my question is,- I have read may of the forums and have had a lot of people saying that the anti-derpressents they have tried includunf 5-HTP wear off after a certain time. Why? I am very slowly weening off an anti-depressant at the moment, which throws me side ways with Vertigo (for some reason) with the help of my psychiatrist.
Any answers of what to do because I am so depressed and at my wits end and looking for ver informative info and where to go. Thanks. Harris AJ

Howdy! If you read the posts here, you'll see this info posted by me quite a bit. It's just that I have found something that worked great for me and I'm so excited about it that I want to share it with everyone that may be feeling as bad as I was before I found it. I was taking 50 mg Zoloft daily for PMDD. I was told by my doctor that it was not habit forming, but when I ran out before I had a chance to get refils, I had all these wierd symptoms. That made me not want to use medication anymore. After doing some reasearch on the internet, I found information that led me to an alternative. It's premise is that brain chemistry can be balanced by providing the body with the right nutrition rather than with medications. I ordered the product (in the form of a meal replacemnet shake and body clenseing drink) over the internet. I found that it worked great. I stopped taking the medication altogether and I continued to feel normal. Obviously, you would want to run the info past your doctor, because everyone is different, but it worked great for me. And a wonderful side effect is that I lost 12 pounds in the first 9 days. The zoloft made me gain weight and the natural alternative actually made me lose it, so I was even more thrilled. The website that I ordered mine from is www.roadtohealthandwealth.isagenix.com in case you want to check it out for yourself. The site let me purchase the product either wholesale, or retail depending on wether I wanted to pay a $36 annual fee. I did the math, and it made sense financially to pay the fee and get the product at wholesale prices because the different in prices between wholesale and retail was more than the $36 fee anyways. Hope this helps. I was so happy with what it did for me, that I wanted to let everyone I could know too. Sincerely, cmg
