Topic Title: Valupak SJW

Has anyone in the UK tried Valupak SJW? They are incredibly cheap (99p a tub) and sold at discount chemists stores, along with their whole range of equally cheap supplements. It states that each tablet contains 1000mg extract giving 1mg hypericin. I am reluctant to trust anything quite so cheap, in fact I tend to stick to the most expensive (Kira), but if anyone has found them to be OK, they would be amazing value for money.

Juju, something is screwy with those figures. 1000mg of extract is a huge amount for a tablet. Is there any chance it's actually 300mg and that it's some kind of typo? 1mg of hypericin also indicates it's quite likely to be a 300mg-extract tablet. It's hard to vary the actual ratio of hypericin in SJW.

Epyx, Yeah I thought that seemed somewhat strange too...I didn't notice any other info on the tub either, nothing about standardisation etc. All their other supps - gingko, ginseng etc, are also ridiculously cheap compared to elsewhere. Next time I visit the store I'll check it out again, but I imagine that you get what you pay for!
