Hi, i am just switching from anti-depressent to this SJW manu by Blackmores, Australia. I am confused after reading your website suggesting standard intake per day is 900mg. According to Blackmores prescription, the bottle say each table contains SJW (Hypericum perforatum) extract equiv. dry flowering herb top (1800mg) (standardised to contain hypericin derivatives 990mcg) recommend dosage is 1 tablet twice daily, which mean 3600mg per day??? Can anyone solve this puzzle?

Lovely to have another Aussie here  This is a common confusion with Blackmores SJW. The answer is further down the page, but to save you the trouble of searching, click here to read it.
You said the bottle says take 2 tablets per day ... was that a typo? It used to read "3", and the website still says that too.

Hello Epyx,
thank you so much for your information. I was confused with the description so i consume only one tablet per day but doesn't seem to work. I'll try to take two and see how it goes. i am hesitate to take the full dose because most antidepressant pills i took before which do not only lift up my spirit, but my weight as well. That's why i stop and turn to SJW. Do u experience any weight gain after taking it?

SJW is not normally associated with weight gain, and the same goes for sexual dysfunction. If two tablets hasn't affected your mood within say 2-3 weeks, you should consider moving to 3 tablets.
By the way, it's not all that well known that Blackmore's happens to be a very high quality SJW preparation. It's even less known that Herron SJW is exactly the same product! I discovered this a few months back when I was researching their manufacturing upline.
