Does anyone have any experience of SJW made by 'Natures Aid', Preston UK? I have just started using it. It is reasonably priced and has a standard dose - 333mg, providing 1000ug Hypericin (0.3%)

Hi mate - Nice to see a fellow Brit on here!!
I can't say that i've used that exact brand of SJW, but I have used other vitamins and supplements made by the same people and they all seemed to be good. The dosage you mention is the same as I (and what appears to be the majority on this forum) take....If after a few weeks you notice no difference, the brand I have been using (same dosage and concentration etc) for a few successful months is called 'Quest Vitamins' and is available in most health-food shops etc...could be worth a comparison try if no joy with the one you have!!

Hello, from another brit, I have just started taking sjw for the past week. My brand is good N natural (300mg, 0.15% hypericin) from holland and barret health stores. Feel hyper, yet calm. Started hynotherapy at the same time so i dont know which is benefiting me more! I'm from the west midlands, pleased to meet you both. Angela xx

Hi Angela
Nice to meet you too!!
I've been taking SJW for a good few months now (on and off) with a good degree of success (got me through my final year of university anyway!).
If you ever need any help or advice post me a message here and I'll get back to you!
David
PS. I'd be interested to hear about the hypnotherepy - what they do and if you reckon it works!!

hi David, i hope you dont mind but i've kind of interupted here, i was looking on the net about hypnotherepy and it brought this site up and i saw your interest in hypnotherepy. I'm on my 6th week of hypnotherepy treatment and yeah it seems to be working. Its been a strange treatment, not quite what i expected ! being 'under' isn't quite as mind blowing as i had expected ! nevertheless it seems to be helping me. If you want me to go into it a bit deeper let me know as i'm happy to share the experience. Since starting i've read a lot about hynosis and have found it a really amazing subject...i've had a go at self hypnosis as well !!! anyway if you want to know more let me know.
Regards.
Gina.

Dear David, thank you for your kind reply. I have been on SJW now for 3 weeks or so. Sometimes i feel hyer, sometimes tired its hard to tell really. I m in hynotherapy for issues concerning my childhood. So far its been very heart wrenching, but we all have to face things eventually. Didnt think he would be able to hypnotise me as i'm so strong willed, but he DID. Thanks again, for answering the post...love Angela xxxx

Hi again Angela,
Good to hear that things seem to be going OK...I also have some days when I feel a bit hyper and yet others when I feel shattered if I even walk downstairs to get a glass of water....This is stabilising quite a bit now though...Stick with it, it definately gets better.
When I'm down, I always seem to focus my thoughts on a few things, one being my childhood - I guess my mind wishes I could go back to that time where I was (quite) happy and carefree....even though I had some stuff to contend with ie parents divorce etc...The SJW seems to be doing quite a good job of preventing my thoughts being hung-up on these things!!
Yours, hoping that things keep going well!
David
