I recently bought St. John's wort for the first time. The brand I bought is KIRA. Has anyone else used this, and, if so, is it any good.

Hi John, I have been taking Kira and it made me feel real good. Then I noticed I started to get real nervous and I was getting twitches in my body. I thought I couldn't take SJW anymore. So I stopped taking it. Now I tried taking a brand that doesn't say it has LI160 in it and I'm not nervous anymore. I still think that Kira is a real good product. There are people who really like the way it works. I get nervous with Movana too. That is similar to Kira, I found. There is a girl on this board who loves Movana. If I were you, I would definately try Kira. I feel bad that it made me so nervous because it was working for me. I do wish you good luck. Please don't go by me though because a lot of things make me nervous that work well for others. I would take it if I were you. Please let me know how you make out.

Hi Lmno, When I first started taking SJW I bought a bottle of Sundown. Experiments that have been preformed on SJW say that Sundown is not a very good product so I looked into the so called better products and I started taking Kira. I started taking Sundown again because I had some left over but I intend on trying Natrol. Has anyone ever tried Natrol? I take Natrols 5HTP and I don't have any problems with it. I am looking into Natures Way and I think it's called Natures Prairie. But so far Sundown has made me feel good, but Kira made me feel better but I just couldn't stand the nervous twitches and the overall nervousness. I really think that in my case it is the LI160 that doesn't agree with me so I am going to buy a better brand than Sundown and try that because Sundown is weak.
Please, If you haven't tried Kira or Movana yet, try it because a lot of people love them and in all the experiments that were done on SJW, they came out near the top as far as being real good products. Kira just didn't agree with me. It might work great for you. Give it a try before you try another kind. Sundown doesn't work as well as far as taking away depression. To bad I had to get so nervous. I mean twitching and shaking nervous not just a little anxious. I think I really am going to try Natrol because I heard that it does work better than Sundown. By the way, I have read that some people on here take Now and Flora oil SJW. Do you or anyone know where I can get those? I would like to read about them. I do wish you the best of luck with Kira. It sure takes depression away. You might not get nervous. I'll let you know how the new brand works for me, probably Natrol. Please let me know how you make out on Kira.

I am in the USA and yesterday I first noticed the Kira brand of SJW for sale somewhere. It was at a Target store in the vitamins & supplements section. The Kira was priced pretty high at $9.00 for a box of 45 tablets, which you would take 3 a day. That comes out to 20 cents a pill.

Hello Imno, Thank You for letting me know where I can get the brand Kira. When they did tests on the different brands, it did come out second. I heard it is a good brand too. That is a lot of money for 45 tablets though. I have only been on SJW for about three and a half weeks and I am not that crazy about the brand I bought, so I'm looking for another brand that works good. Do you happen to know what brand or brands do work the best. The brand I bought is working, but not as well as it should be. I do realize that I haven't taken it for that long, but I really want a good brand that will work. Thanks again for letting me know where I can get Kira. I guess I will have to pay about $20:00 next month because I will need two boxes, WOW. They better work real good, LOL. I'll let you know.

Hi John, I never used the brand Kira because I can't find it. I just wanted you to know that in experiments they did on St. John's Wort, Kira came in as the second best with the brands they used. I have been looking for it. The Brand that came in first is called Safeway Select. I can't find that one either. I am talking The brand that came in last and I am feeling real good now. The other day I said I felt nothing, but all of a sudden, I'm so happy, I love it. I do intend to buy a better brand though. I do wish you luck with Kira, I heard it is really good. Please let me know how it works, and where did you get it?

Vanna- Safeway is a supermarket in Canada with its own brand name. I'm not sure where you live but you're probably not in Canada and that's probably why you don't know about the brand.
I was a bit shocked to find out that Safeway Select has the best rated SJW, as it's very accessible to me, and usually resaonably priced.
Hasx anyone out there tried Safeway Select and if so- how did you like it, how much did you take, any complaints, etc???

I have been reading a lot of SJW bottles, LOL. I think that is the only SJW I haven't read, LoL. Well not really, I'm sure they have different brands in other countries other than Canada. I just hope I don't hear something good about them, LOL. Well, I hope that it really is real good. That's what tests said that were done on it. Let me know if it works real well for you. Safeway is also a supermarket on the east coast and they do carry Safeway Select. I just moved down from DC to florida. DC has Safeway's, I am sure that if you would call them, they could very likely ship it. The number is 202-483-3908 otherwise you can see if there may be any within driving distance, at www.safeway.com . Best of luck.

Thank You for finding the Safeway Stores in the US for me. Of course there are none in my state. I could order it over the computer though. I'm going to try some others first and if they don't work for me, then I will order it. It did come out first in some test they did on SJW. I imagine it must be good. Well, Thanks Again. I'll keep the website. To bac they don't have that store here. It looks like a nice store, they have a lot of things, LOL.
