I recently (2 months ago) started on Wellbutrin for depression, and am taking 250-300mg/day. It's working fairly well for me, but after scouring PubMed I found that it has zero (0) effect on serotonin so I decided to try 5-HTP with it.

I have an (almost empty) bottle of Natrol 5-HTP in the medicine cabinet, from past experiments. Anyway, I took 100mg this morning and find the combination with Wellbutrin very nice. Getting a mild euphoria from the 5-HTP, a little mental cloudiness (not too bad) and a slight lift in mood. I like it, so I ordered a bottle of "Now Foods" 5-HTP from iHerb.com. I'll post an update later as to how this combo works long term. As for short term effects, anything that gives me euphoria is OK in my book (grin).
