I read someplace that there ia particular B vitamin that should not be taken at the same time as 5htp because it can increase the risk of serotonin syndrome. Does anyone know which Bvit that is.

As far as I know & have read, don't mix B-6 with 5-HTP.

after a question further up the page about this, i've just been doing some surfing (i know, internet can be a dangerous source of info!). someone said that their bottle of 5HTP said don't take vit b6 3 hours before or after taking 5HTP...

i didn't know b6 helped create seratonin. now i don't know if the 5htp that's working or the b6!!
