I have been taking 5 HPT 100mg/day and made me more depress and my heart was acting up. My fingers tips were hurting and I felt tearing-like feelings all aver my body. Does enyone experienced similar feelings? please let me know if I should continue taking it or I should stop.

Maybe 5htp is NOT for you. There are plenty of other options like, SJW, sam-e, relora...

A good place to start, I think, is with a book like "the mood cure" or "depression free naturally"
