well i wanted to take this as i'm not a full blown depressed person, i just get down , and wanted something to keep me normal and in a "be able to get through" thype of mood. its funny i work till about 5pm , come home and just relax and eat. Around 8pm i feel asleep and woke up around 10pm feeling like i slept all night, is this normal, feels like i took a good poweer nap and im so refresed. Im wondering could you take caffeine with this being that if i wanna have this cool feeling during the day, how does coffee interact with it,, will it diminish the effect of the buzz this gives off, or should i stay away from caffeine products while taking

Caffeine depletes your serotonin levels, so you might want to avoid caffeine all together.

Hey Soprano---
I take it with caffeine and it doesn't seem to have any negative effects. I take 1 100 miligram dose a day. I've been doing that for almost 2 weeks now. I think it would be safe to try it and see how your individual body reacts to it. Good luck.

I used to take 5htp with a cup of coffee in the morning so that I would stay awake, then another dose at 3 pm without coffe. Don't think it had any interactions.
