Hi, I started taking SJW 4 days ago for anxiety. I then saw that many of you use 5htp for anxiety and have even better results. I started combining the two. Am I starting off too quickly here? I am taking the SJW all in one dose before bed since I sleep poorly. I am taking the 5htp (50mg) in the morning and then again at nite w/the SJW. I just don't want to freak out my body any more than it already is. Also, I was wondering if any of you take DHEA here too. I know it works as an adrenal support. I was thinking it might be good to take it too as I am sure my adreanals are fatigued due to years of over stimulation from the anxiety. Would this be safe to add in? I am not sure if it has anything to do with brain chemicals. Any one with thoughts on this please help... Missigus

hey i really recommend you get the book 'the mood cure' by julia ross. it explains a lot about specific mood problems & the corresponding neurotransmitters that are probably low. it also has a lot of dietary suggestions & a program of aminos / suppliments. she also has a whole section on nutrients to support the adrenal system & tells you how to order saliva tests if the suppliments aren't succesfull & what to do if you have low DHEA or cortisol levels. you can check out her website at: http://www.moodcure.com
i haven't started my program yet as i just finished the book - but i've made some diet changes & noticed results right away.
